Does not absorb odors, spot cleans, and air dries easily

I will list the pros about my winter cardigan after 30 days of wearing it. Technically 31 because I wore it today also. Does not absorb odors. It spot cleans and air dries easily, I didn't have to do a full hand wash yet. It does not pick up a lot of pet hair compared to my other wool items. I love the pockets, you just have to be careful to not put too much weight in them because I did end up pulling some threads loose at the top of the pocket seam. Thankfully the repair policy is in place and I'll be able to have that fixed and I will be super mindful in the future. It has not pilled, was not itchy. The only time I felt too hot was when I fell asleep wearing. Otherwise it held up in 29°F weather (no wind) layered over Merino wool tee or even the SeaCell crew neck. I have zero complaints. For the record I ordered a size up to get extra length because I like my rear to be covered otherwise I believe this is true to size fit.

Super soft, lightweight and very warm

Super soft, lightweight and very warm cardigan. Perfect for layering in fall and winter. Goes great with jeans but can also be dressed up with slacks and heeled boots. Beige goes with everything. I gen after wearing for 5 days it has no smell. Great closet staple and worth the investment!

I didn't even have to pull out my winter coat

My one concern was actually that my weather would cooperate with wearing a sweater. We have dramatic temp swings and one day it really was pretty hot for December. :-) The upside was we also hit the lowest temp on record one day, and I didn't even have to pull out my winter coat, which was really nice. Although I wear natural fibers daily and promote multiple brands that host clothing "challenges" this is the first time I have participated myself and I enjoyed it. It was really nice having that decision already made for me every day and definitely made me curious about trying other wardrobe challenges. Knowing that I can still be creative with my wardrobe while wearing the same focus piece was a fun discovery. My only constructive feedback on the sweater is that for me it seemed a little small for a unisex medium and the shedding was pretty heavy for the first day or two. Other than that I find the quality, design, feel, and warmth to be excellent.

Classic and goes with just about everything

The winter cardigan in teal is classic and goes with just about everything I wear (browns, blacks, greys and greens). I sized up to XXL, wanting a longer/looser fit that I could pair with my leggings without having my butt hang out. Usually I wear a L to XL for sweaters and jackets. I have been happy with the overall fit though it was larger than I expected. I think the sizing is more unisex/male sizes. But with the way the sweater form fits it doesn't look to wide and instead tends to just hang lower, which is what I wanted. It's also not nearly as thick as I thought the winter cardigan would be but is still very warm. (I think this helps it not feel bulky even though it fits more like a duster cardigan.)

I’ve been interested in trying yak fiber for a while

The fit is a little more snug than I usually wear, but it looks nice. It’s about as soft as cotton, although I keep thinking it’s going to be scratchy like wool, because it’s so warm! I got mine in natural brown, which I like - it goes with a lot. It looks great with jeans. I’ve been interested in trying yak fiber for a while.

I love that the sweater is made in the U.S.

Well, I really fell in love with my pure yak cardigan, size XS, in charcoal. I am unable to wear wool - it itches terribly. Sometimes, even with a layer of clothing between my skin and the wool doesn’t help. So I was skeptical about the claims for Yak wool. At first I did have to wear a shirt underneath but as the sweater “broke in”, it became softer and softer and I could wear it against my skin. Sometimes there was a slight itch, but I feel sure that with more wear, it will just get better and when it finally needs to be washed, better still. I love the sustainability of the yak wool and low environmental impact for production. And, I love that the sweater is made in the U.S. and not in a sweat shop. Finally, I just love the fit, the feel of the sweater - how it can be so warm and yet so lightweight and “un-bulky”. You really have to feel the sweater to believe it! When I first received the sweater, and felt how relatively thin the fabric was, I had a hard time believing it could keep me warm. So glad it proved me wrong.

The sweater is soft, nice, warm and it's color is really nice

I prefer this type of sweater to be larger, so I should have sized up to an XL. It is soft, the color is nice and it is warm. I will follow the instructions for washing with a pair of jeans and see if I can remove the pills. At this point, not sure it was worth it for me.

Looks and feels amazing

The sweater looks and feels amazing, I think the fit is slightly small compared to other XL I own. My only negative is that it is pretty expensive. But having said that, I do plan to buy another sweater in the future.

It’s a little smaller than traditional unisex sizing, so I recommend sizing up one. The yarn is a very comfortable weight for winter. It’s soft and super cozy. I traditionally wear jeans and a long sleeve T-shirt underneath I’ve already ordered more.
